A. How to access ZAFOLIA Hotel from:
Athens International Airport (AIA)
AIA is about 30klm (20miles) from ZAFOLIA Hotel.
You can reach the hotel
in one of the following ways:
By Car
- Upon exiting the airport facilities you enter the airport access
highway that leads you to Attiki Odos, a tolled metropolitan
highway.
- You follow signs to Athens Centre and on exit No 16 you will
follow signs to Western ring road.
- Take the Katechaki exit (Y1) direction to Athens centre
- On the intersection with Messogion Ave. you will turn left
towards Athens
- Follow Messogion avenue signs that will lead you to its end
where it twists and intersects with Kifisias Avenue
- Cross the intersection and you are on Alexandras Avenue, where
ZAFOLIA Hotel is located.
- After crossing 5 traffic lights and the all white marble building
of Justice on your right you will see the 7-storie, beige granite
covered building of Hotel ZAFOLIA.
- To access the parking you take a turn just after the hotel’s
main entrance.
By Metro
- There is a Metro Transfer Station on the departures level of
the AIA.
- You can choose between the Athens Metro or the Proastiakos
Local train connection.
- The Proastiakos train will take you to “Doukissis Plakentias”
station were you will transfer to Line 3 (blue line), direction
“Aigaleo”. After a short 10 minute ride you will arrive on
“Ambelokipoi” station, where you disembark and follow signs
to “Panormou” exit.
- Should you choose the Metro system, then Line 3 (Blue line)
will bring you directly to the“Ambelokipoi” station, where
you disembark and follow signs to “Panormou” exit.
- Once on the Alexandras Avenue sidewalk, you turn left towards
the Panathinakos football stadium and after a 10-15 minute walk
(depending on your stride) you arrive in front of Hotel ZAFOLIA.
By Bus
- There is a Bus Station on the arrivals level of the AIA.
- Take Bus No X94 or X95 that run 24 hours a day and costs 3,20€.
- You disembark at bus stop “Ethniki Amyna” and switch to Metro
- You get off at “Ambelokipoi” station, where you disembark and
follow signs
to “Panormou”
exit.
By Taxi
Depending on traffic
should take between 30-45 minutes and cost 25-30€
