Situated at the edge of Athens city centre, ZAFOLIA Hotel is equally close to Athens’s traditional business, shopping and historic centre and to the new - post Athens Olympic Games-, business and shopping corridor of Kifisias Avenue.

A. How to access ZAFOLIA Hotel from:

Athens International Airport (AIA)

AIA is about 30klm (20miles) from ZAFOLIA Hotel.
You can reach the hotel in one of the following ways:

By Car

  • Upon exiting the airport facilities you enter the airport access highway that leads you to Attiki Odos, a tolled metropolitan highway.
  • You follow signs to Athens Centre and on exit No 16 you will follow signs to Western ring road.
  • Take the Katechaki exit (Y1) direction to Athens centre
  • On the intersection with Messogion Ave. you will turn left towards Athens
  • Follow Messogion avenue signs that will lead you to its end where it twists and intersects with Kifisias Avenue
  • Cross the intersection and you are on Alexandras Avenue, where ZAFOLIA Hotel is located.
  • After crossing 5 traffic lights and the all white marble building of Justice on your right you will see the 7-storie, beige granite covered building of Hotel ZAFOLIA.
  • To access the parking you take a turn just after the hotel’s main entrance.

By Metro

  • There is a Metro Transfer Station on the departures level of the AIA.
  • You can choose between the Athens Metro or the Proastiakos Local train connection.
    • The Proastiakos train will take you to “Doukissis Plakentias” station were you will transfer to Line 3 (blue line), direction “Aigaleo”. After a short 10 minute ride you will arrive on “Ambelokipoi” station, where you disembark and follow signs to “Panormou” exit.
    • Should you choose the Metro system, then Line 3 (Blue line) will bring you directly to the“Ambelokipoi” station, where you disembark and follow signs to “Panormou” exit.
  • Once on the Alexandras Avenue sidewalk, you turn left towards the Panathinakos football stadium and after a 10-15 minute walk (depending on your stride) you arrive in front of Hotel ZAFOLIA.

By Bus

  • There is a Bus Station on the arrivals level of the AIA.
  • Take Bus No X94 or X95 that run 24 hours a day and  costs 3,20€.
  • You disembark at bus stop “Ethniki Amyna” and switch to Metro
  • You get off at “Ambelokipoi” station, where you disembark and follow signs to “Panormou” exit.

By Taxi
Depending on traffic should take between 30-45 minutes and cost 25-30€

Athens City Centre

By Bus

  • Trolley Bus No7 “Panepistimiou-Alexandras”
  • Trolley Bus No8 “Akadimias-Alexandras”
  • Blue City Bus No A7, “Kaniggos-Kifissia-N.Erythrea”
  • Blue City Bus No B7, “Kaniggos-Kifissia-N.Kifissia”
  • Blue City Bus No B5, “Stathmos Larissis-Leoforos Alexandras-Agia Paraskevi”

Get of at bus stop “Panathinaia” or “Ippokratous”

By Metro

  • You can use the Metro station nearest to you
  • You should choose Line 3, (Blue Line) direction “Doukissis Plakentias” – “Airport”
  • Get off at “Ambelokipoi” station and follow signs to “Panormou” exit.
  • Once on the Alexandras Avenue sidewalk, you turn left towards the Panathinakos football stadium and after a 10-15 minute walk (depending on your stride) you arrive in front of Hotel ZAFOLIA.

By Taxi
Taxis are abundant in Athens and should take you to the hotel from the wider Athens centre area in no more than 10-20 minutes (depending on traffic) and charge you  4-8€

Port of Piraeus

By Metro

  • Take the Metro at Piraeus port (“Electricos”, Line 1or Green line) direction to Kifisia.
  • At “Monastiraki” you change to Line 3 (Blue line), direction “Doukissis Plakentias” – “Airport”
  • Get off at “Ambelokipoi” station and follow signs to “Panormou” exit.
  • Once on the Alexandras Avenue sidewalk, you turn left towards the Panathinakos football stadium and after a 10-15 minute walk (depending on your stride) you arrive in front of Hotel ZAFOLIA.

By Taxi
There specially designated Taxi stations where you can pick up one and should take you to the hotel in no more than 20-30 minutes (depending on traffic) and charge you between 15-20€

Athens, Lamia, Thessaloniki National Highway

By Car

  • Take Attiki Odos direction “”Markopoulo”
  • Get off  Attiki Odos at Exit 11, get on Kifisias Avenue direction to Athens Centre
  • At the Alexandras Avenue intersection turn right and proceed for less than 1km.
  • After crossing 5 traffic lights and the all white marble building of Justice on your right you will see the 7-storie, beige granite covered building of Hotel ZAFOLIA.
  • To access the parking you take a turn just after the hotel’s main entrance.
Patras, Corinth, Athens National Highway

By Car

  • After the Elefsina Toll post you should take Attiki Odos direction “Markopoulo”
  • Get off  Attiki Odos at Exit 11, get on Kifisias Avenue direction to Athens Centre
  • At the Alexandras Avenue intersection turn right and proceed for less than 1km.
  • After crossing 5 traffic lights and the all white marble building of Justice on your right you will see the 7-storie, beige granite covered building of Hotel ZAFOLIA.
  • To access the parking you take a turn just after the hotel’s main entrance.

Athens International Airport

By Metro

  • You can take the metro at “Ambelokipi” station Line 3 (Blue line) direction “Doukissis Plakentias” – “Airport”
  • Disembark on the “Airport” terminal station

 
By Taxi
You can pick up one from the hotel and should take you to Athens International Airport in no more than 45 minutes (depending on traffic) and charge you between 20-25€.

Port of Piraeus

By Metro

  • You  take the metro at “Ambelokipi” station Line 3 (Blue line) direction “AIgaleo”.
  • At “Monastiraki” or “Omonoia” you transfer to Line 1 (Green line) ,direction “Piraeus”
  • Get off at the very last terminal station “Pireaus”.

By Taxi
You can pick up one from the hotel and should take you to Piraeus Port in no more than 25-35 minutes (depending on traffic) and charge you between 15-20€

Kifissias Business Corridor and Olympic Stadium

By Metro

  • You  take the metro at “Ambelokipi” station Line 3 (Blue line) direction “AIgaleo”.
  • At “Monastiraki” or “Omonoia” you transfer to Line 1 (Green line) ,direction “Kifisia”
  • Get off at the  station “Eirini”. And you are right at the entrance of the Olympic Complex

By Taxi
You can pick up one from the hotel and should take you to Olympic Stadium in no more than 15-20 minutes (depending on traffic) and charge you between 8-10€

By Bus
You can pick up outside the hotel at the nearby bus station either Bus No A7 or B7 and after a 15-20 min. ride you get off at the “Olympic Stadium” bus stop
